Psychiatry is guilty of gross scientific misconduct. As it has been with the bogus "treatment" (torture?) of lobotomies, which were basically severing and damaging parts of the brain with an ice-pick, so today the tradition of lies, and quack treatments continue.  The whole "chemical imbalance" theory is based on specious reasoning.  Psychiatric drugs work by inducing  abnormal states in the brain, not reversing them.  They disrupt normal neurotransmission, and have been shown to cause extensive brain damage.  Here Dr. Peter Breggin, often called the conscience of psychiatry does an introductory video explaining the "chemical imbalance" lie. He is a pioneer in the critical psychiatry field, and in many ways a hero. Without further ado here is the first video in this introductory series:

Posted by Independent Thinker According to this video, and contrary to what some of the older people in the video have said, this is apparently NOT an ancient tradition, and pretty horrible if you ask me.  Getting kidnapped and forced into a marriage.  Apparently in the last few years the laws have become more harsh against this terrible practice.  Kyrgyzstan is another one of those ex-Soviet states that I find to be fascinating, unfortunately this will be the "introductory" video of this country on this blog.  Anyway, some people may find the footage to be disturbing.

Griffiths, who produced the infamous Birth of a Nation.  I'll probably upload a version of this film on my YouTube channel later on. This film is from 1930. I haven't watched it all yet... This is a vile practice of bestiality coming from Northern Colombia, starting from a young age, and continuing into adulthood in many cases.  I must warn you that it may either be disturbing or funny, or both depending on your inclinations. I can only hope that this somehow doesn't catch on in America, or Europe someday ...  Those poor donkeys. Also, I've talked to a girl from Colombia and she confirmed to me that it is common in that region.

In the same spirit as my previous thought that a bunch of a-holes, ridiculous old prunes, dilettantes, 'haters', dimwits, and people who want to bring me down with their well...general unpleasantness, the idea that I will still keep going regardless, I wanted to post a classic movie here: Fritz Lang's Metropolis from 1927.  I enjoy old silent films, and the German Expressionist films from the Weimar era were some of the best, who can forget Nosferatu, for example? This film is about the future, and that's offers an incredible view in terms of architecture of what the future could hold, and that's something I look forward to with optimism despite all of the misfortune something great possible in the future, ok even though this film is dystopian. This was one of the first racial science and eugenics, and dysgenics books I've ever read.  That was quite a while ago. Despite being rather unwell at the time I could hardly put the book down, it was like a revelation to me after studying this subject in bits and pieces here and there.
