When the White power skinheads came on the Gerlado Rivera Show in 1988

We've all probably seen footage of the brawl between the skinheads and other people on the Geraldo Rivera show from the late 80s. Wow, were these shows something then. This is the episode when Gerlado invited the White power skinheads to talk about their views, as well as a Jewish guest, and the Black Roy Innis to argue with them. This being a trash talk TV show you can see that it was generally rude with shouting and so forth. The skinheads were flippant, but so was Geraldo. At one point he almost slapped John Metzger.

The fight broke out when John Metzger referred to the Jewish man as a "kike" and Roy Innis as an "Uncle Tom".

Unsurprisingly, it was the Black Innis who started the violence. Geraldo wanted to fight and got a chair thrown at him which broke his nose. Apparently, the wild action of this show influenced the Jerry Springer show into becoming a trash talk circus. I bet if they tried to have a show like this these days BLM would riot and loot.

Anyway, in case anyone missed it here it is, and for discussion as well.

Doesn't seem like the skinhead movement got very far in the intervening years.
