Happy New Year 2023 from Raceology!
Hey everyone, sorry that I've been absent as of late. As you know my ill-fated trip to Western Europe did not turn out well. I blew a lot of my savings in the process, and realized that most of Western Europe is demographically in a lot worse shape than I had thought. France is gone, also many people there are assholes, much of it looks terrible, and Paris is teeming with tourists. Belgium was gone when I was there in 2015, Netherlands is gone, Czech Republic is gone to tourists, the UK is close to being gone, you get the point.
The only places that I noticed had a chance where places like Berlin and Munich in Germany, along with Switzerland. A lot of Eastern Europe is decaying as well. Right now what seems to be left for the time being are the Baltic countries, Belarus, Poland, Moldova, and I suppose to a lesser extent Slovakia. Finland and Switzerland seem to be the European countries in the best demographic shape. You can say whatever you want but the invasion is happening full scale, and with the demographic explosions in Africa and Asia, things just might get a lot worse.
I'm really busy lately getting myself out of the hole financially, socially, and studying full time online. I'm planning on moving to Eastern Europe when I sort myself out but it needs to be something with a lot of planning. It can't be done on a whim. I think I found a country or two that I'd like to go to. If I ever get the opportunity again financially I'd do it right.
Look at what's happening this year: the war in Ukraine, the invasion of the southern border, demographic decline, the economy. Here in Canada rental housing is becoming even less affordable, and in shorter supply. The job market seems worse than ever too.
Personally, I am not in a good place but think if I overcome this current moment things will be a lot better, since now I know more or less exactly what my plan is and think it's feasible if I get the resources.
Hopefully whatever your goals are you have you drafter your own places on how to achieve them if you haven't already. Life's a struggle and I've been struggling through all the way. I'll try to post a lot more in the coming year after I get over some of these problems but for now Happy New Year's!
