Haiti: The Real Wakanda - When Blacks are Left to Their Own Devices - Chaos

 I'm sure by now people have seen what is happening in Haiti. The government has essentially collapsed. Gangs have taken over, and it has become a virtual war zone, in part led by a former police now nicknamed BBQ. He makes examples of his enemies by burning them in the street. 

People do not have food to eat, and people are getting shot and killed in the streets. In 2024 alone there are already 2500 killed or injured in gang violence according to a UN report. A large percentage of armed groups even have minors in their ranks. 


Haiti was a country that killed en masse its colonial French, and became and independent country.  Like most other countries that are majority black, and run by blacks it was never a prosperous country and always had problems with crime and poverty.  

Once again when blacks are left to their own devices we don't see the kind of futuristic, technologically advanced society like in some Hollywood, "Black Panther" movie, we see disorder, violence and poverty. Arguably a reversion if you will to many of the societies that existed, and still exist in sub-Saharan Africa.

The real Wakanda isn't a society hundreds of years into the future it is hundreds of years in the past. 

2026 Update: over 25000 killed, 1200 due to cholera, thousands facing starvation, millions in severe poverty and over a million displaced. These are internal conflicts going on for 6 years now, but Haiti has always been a failed state more or less.

College Majors: Which Majors are Actually Worth It?

Hello all, this may not be a good time to post this considering the pandemic going on, but I meant to put this up a while ago, and never have. This will be the start of the work section I promised to make here.  I'll make a few articles on these topics and link them on a tab on the blog.  For now this article will be that tab link as it is the first and only. Obviously this boils down to a certain extent on you personally and your interests but more often than not it also has to do even more with demand, and the supply of people with the qualifications, along with the pay range you can expect.
