Happy New Year 2021 to Everyone!

Image
Wow this year, was just filled with the wildest news and events. The whole COVID-19 thing, the protests in America, and all of the terrible stuff happening around the world. I realize that in our personal lives we've also had to struggle and there's lots of scary stuff going on outside. I just tried to get through it the best I could as other people are doing. It's been a long difficult journey, and it continues. I'm sure everyone else has had difficulties this year and I hope they get through them. Maybe we should celebrate just being alive. If I can keep going after all I've been though maybe that's some small inspiration for others, to continue and try to prosper. I wish everyone a happy, safe and prosperous New Year!

Happy Second Anniversary to Raceology!

Raceology December 13, 2020                                                   Posted by Independent Thinker Some History:  Hello all, this is way past the real second anniversary of this blog which was actually back in October 2020 or something like that.  It all started in October 2018, as the disqus channel system was going down the drain. Yes, it's been up here for that long.  Back then I hadn't all that much time for it since most people were still posting on the disqus channels, and I visited AmRen every now and then. I guess considering how much vile, and trollish type of stuff went over at the channels with either an egalitarian, "anti-racist", or hardcore White supremacist or neo-Nazi type of perspective being promulgated when confronted with racial issues, I really wanted to create more of an atmosphere that doesn't really do either. ...

No More Sunday Night at the Movies: Copyright claims, but recommendations

Image
Hello, I am unsure if I can continue to offer a Sunday night at the Movies. Due to automatic copyright infringement notices the movies I upload to google, dailymotion, etc., get taken down. I am really only sharing them with my "friends" right? We could say we have a private virtual living room can't we, with big windows that others can see inside of?  Anyway, I don't charge anything for these movies anyway, but what can I do exactly?  So unless I come up with another solution I will just make some movie recommendations and try to post some on here. I have already wasted quite some time setting the movies up. My recommendations are: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (1975): A great movie that shows the cruelty and harm of the psychiatric industry especially at the tragic ending. Although those lobotomies are now performed with drugs and ECT rather than through surgery. Mad Max 2 (1981): This is a violent film, but it's cool in a dystopian sort of way. Wo...

A Hanukkah Gift by John Engelman

Image
A Hanukkah Gift by John Engelman Copyright© 2016 by John Engelman Patches of snow flecked the dirt road in rural France as a squad of German soldiers rode by on motorcycles. When the squad passed through a wooded area a French resistance fighter threw a hand grenade at the lead motorcycle. The grenade exploded. The motorcycle was destroyed. The rider was killed. Bits of his body and his blood splashed on other soldiers as the motor cycles crashed. The soldiers tried to shoot at unseen enemies. French resistance fighters quickly mowed them down with submachine gun fire. The resistance fighters fled to avoid the approach of more Germans. All was silent. Each of the German soldiers had been killed but Private Hans Rickmers, seventeen years old, slender and slight, 5’7”. He had been wounded in the leg. When he was sure the resistance fighters had left he began calling out to his older brother, “Karl! Karl!” When he discovered the body of his brother, Hans cradled the bloody, broken b...
