My most valued discovery from American Renaissance has been race realism. Professor J. Philippe Rughton explains race realism in his essay, “Race, Evolution and Behavior.” You can find it here: http://www.harbornet.com/folks/theedrich/JP_Rushton/Race.htm One can be a white nationalist and a race realist. They are distinct. White nationalism is a movement. Race realism is a number of testable hypotheses. I have known too many non whites I liked, and too many whites I did not like to be a white nationalist. At the same time, I retain my commitment to the socialist – labor left of Michael Harrington and Walter Reuther from my youth as an anti war activist during the War in Vietnam. The economic concerns of the white working class are my concerns. During the late 1960’s the Democrat Party abandoned the white working class in order to help blacks. What have Republicans done for white blue collar workers? During the Reagan administration the number of factory jobs began to decl...

The Future of Civilization Based on Racial Demographics

Image
by Independent Thinker, August 19, 2020   Raceology blog       Well, there are lots of posts that I wanted to make before revealing/writing this one but then I thought since I have a desire to talk about this topic I might as well just jot down a few notes about this topic here, and then eventually come back to it to write out a much more refined version. So here goes...       Living communally is difficult. Even when people are similar, even if it's your own family conflict inevitably ensues, and it often is painful. When you have to live around people you don't get along with, conflict ensues all the more. There are just so many factors involved in how people can differ and get into conflict. One of those factors that is particularly significant is race. Being of the same race in no way guarantees any kind of co-operation, or mutual warm feelings; people still get into conflict and diligently kill each other within a race, yet both on a large...

Why I, a Race Realist, Will Be Voting for Joe Biden

My most valued discovery from American Renaissance has been race realism. Professor J. Philippe Rughton explains race realism in his essay, “Race, Evolution and Behavior.” You can find it here: http://www.harbornet.com/folks/theedrich/JP_Rushton/Race.htm I recommend that you read it if you have not already done so. You will find why Professor Rushton was persecuted for telling what is obviously true to anyone with extensive experience with the three major races. Race realism is the belief that race is an important biological classification of humans, similar to sub species among animal species, and breeds among domestic animals. Race realism asserts that the races differ significantly in average characteristics important to successful societies and civilizations. These are intelligence, obedience to the law, and monogamy. These have evolved differently among the races because of different populations pressures lasting for thousands of years. Evolving in cold weather selects...

Sunday Night at the Movies: Robocop (1987) (*cyberpunk genre*)

Image
Sorry, for the lateness of this "Sunday Night" film, too much work, and not enough play, I need sleep too you know...I wanted to post a different film but this is what is available now.  I recall when all of these late 80s, and early 90s films were broadcast on television in the mid 90s.  Ah...how time slips by, I remember those days before things went really sour in my life...memories. This film was a hit. From Wikipedia: RoboCop  is a 1987 American  science fiction   action film  directed by  Paul Verhoeven  and written by  Edward Neumeier  and Michael Miner. The film stars  Peter Weller ,  Nancy Allen ,  Dan O'Herlihy ,  Kurtwood Smith ,  Miguel Ferrer , and  Ronny Cox . Set in a crime-ridden  Detroit ,  Michigan , in the near future,  RoboCop  centers on police officer Alex Murphy (Weller) who is murdered by a gang of criminals and subsequently revived by the  megacor...

AmRen video: Eugene Valberg - African Language and the African Mind American Renaissance Conference 2008

Image
Dr. Valberg draws on his years of experience in Africa to explain how Africans differ from whites. Fascinating insights. Dr. Valberg is an American philosopher who has lived for nearly 30 years in Africa. His observations have led him to surprising conclusions about what Africans think about themselves and whites. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is one of my favourite American Renaissance conference videos. Dr. Eugene Valberg is an American Ashkenazi Jewish philosopher who's lived in Africa for almost 30 years. Here he describes how native sub-Saharan African languages often show limited vocabulary, and concepts that are missing in European languages for example. It may be very difficult to express Western concepts with African languages since many of these don't seem to exist in African languages. He points out what this implies for the sub-Saharan African mind. He also gives several examples, of how ...

East Asian History of Sci & Tech 101: The Four Great Inventions Part 2: Printing

Image
As part two of my small series on East Asian history of science and technology we are looking at one of the things that was made more viable by the first invention in this series: paper, and this is of course printing.  Specifically, woodblock printing.  The first part on paper is here (I actually wrote my own article, more or less): https://raceology.blogspot.com/2020/02/east-asian-history-of-sci-tech-101-four.html I'm a bit lazy and short on time so I will copy and paste sections from Wikipedia from this article:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_printing_in_East_Asia The earliest surviving woodblock printed fragments are from China. They are of silk printed with flowers in three colours from the Han Dynasty (before 220 A.D.). They are the earliest example of woodblock printing on paper and appeared in the mid-seventh century in China. By the ninth century, printing on paper had taken off, and the first extant complete printed book cont...

Saturday Morning Cartoons: The Censored Eleven

Image
To save myself some writing from Wikipedia: The  Censored Eleven  is a group of  Looney Tunes  and  Merrie Melodies  cartoons originally produced and released by  Warner Bros.  that were withheld from  syndication  in the United States by  United Artists  (UA) in 1968. UA owned the distribution rights to the  Associated Artists Productions  library at that time and decided to pull these eleven cartoons from broadcast because the use of  ethnic stereotypes  in the cartoons, specifically African stereotypes, was deemed too offensive for contemporary audiences. The ban has been continued by UA and the successive owners of the pre-August 1948  Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies . These shorts have not been officially broadcast on television since 1968 and have only been exhibited once theatrically by Warner Bros. in Spring 2010 (see  below  for more details) since their withdrawal. They have turned ...

Sunday Night at the Movies: Superman (1978)

Image
I like superhero stuff from Marvel and DC, at least some of it, and know it gets a little crazy depending on what it can be. Honestly I prefer Batman to Superman but can't find an upload and so I present you with Superman from 1978. From Wikipedia:  It depicts the origin of Superman (Reeve), including his infancy as Kal-El of  Krypton , son of Jor-El (Brando) and his youthful years in the rural town of  Smallville . Disguised as reporter  Clark Kent , he adopts a mild-mannered disposition in  Metropolis  and develops a romance with  Lois Lane  (Kidder), while battling the villainous  Lex Luthor  (Hackman). The  most expensive film  made up to that point, with a budget of $55 million, [6] [7]   Superman  was released in December 1978 to critical and financial success; its worldwide box office earnings of $300 million made it the second-highest-grossing release of the year. It received praise for Ree...

The Negros in Negroland Review: Chapter III and IV: Human Skulls as Sacred Relics and Ornaments, and Blood-thirstiness and Barbarity of the Negroes in Negroland

Image
I am continuing my series of posts about African history, here focusing on the negative with the collection Negros in Negroland. As I said previously it is a collection of excerpts from the accounts of explorers and travellers in colonial Africa some of these include: Lander's Travels in Africa Canot's Twenty Years of an African Slaver Freeman's Africa Livingstone's Africa Wilson's Africa Murray's African Discoveries Du Chaillu's Equitorial Africa Ogilby's Africa Valdez's Africa and so forth... Chapter III is a chapter entitled: Human Skulls as Sacred Relics and Ornaments in Negroland Here it basically describes what the title says, as it was used by various kings to decorate his palace. I can give one example here: "Permission to see the town was given, and we paid a visit to the Juju-house; a noisy crowd attempted to rush in after us; but a vigorous application of the guards drove them back. Masses of human skulls hang fr...
