Farmlands (2018): A Documentary on South African Farm Murders by Lauren Southern

Image
In this documentary Lauren Southern goes to South Africa to see if there really is a huge crime wave on White South African farmers, and potentially even genocide.  She interviews many White South African farmers who give grisly details of the murder of their loved ones.  Also being interviewed are the crime scene clean up crews who state that the real statistics seem to be much worse than the official ones provided by the government, and also share unbelievable grisly details of these farm murders. Furthermore, apparently the government is taking some willful inaction on these murders. More commentary to follow...

The World Reels from the SARS-CoV-2: The Pandemic That is Killing Thousands and Will Cause an Economic Depression

Image
As I'm sure anyone reading this is aware the SARS coronavirus 2, also known as the novel 2019 coronavirus is wreaking havoc all over the world.  Originating from Wuhan, in Hubei province in the People's Republic of China, the virus has caused over 80, 000 infections in China, and caused Wuhan among other areas to go under complete lockdown. The virus has now spread globally affecting USA, Italy, and Spain the worst. There are now more cases of coronavirus in the USA than anywhere else, at least as far as confirmed cases are concerned. Italy has had over 9000 deaths, more than the over 3000 in China, Spain has had over 5000. The worst hit area in the USA is New York. Millions of people are losing their jobs, as people around the world are being forced to stay at home. In developing nations such as India, government aid, and relief appears to be extremely limited. It appears as if the virus may become endemic in the world, and will be like the flu. It also appears that t...

Akira Yoshino shares the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2019 for “for the development of lithium-ion batteries”

Image
Hello, I realize this is old news now, I meant to post this earlier but got sidetracked and also wanted to do more in my series on the history of science and technology in East Asia.  Several times now I'd been derided by those who've claimed that East Asians have not achieved great feats in the history of science and technology, and claimed that what I espoused were simply "myths" despite all of the evidence I've presented, some people would actually not accept any evidence whatsoever. In any case one of the examples that I've used was that of Akira Yoshino, which many people have never heard of, though I have with my science background.  He was instrumental in making the first viable  prototype of the Lithium-Ion battery.  Imagine how important it is nowadays, think of all of the smartphones, and laptops that are powered by this important technology, and so much more. This truly was a groundbreaking innovation, and it seems that now the Nobel committ...

The Eugenically Civilizing Effects of Civilization

Image
Peter Frost wrote "The Roman State and Genetic Pacification." https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/147470491000800306. He also wrote, "Western Europe, State Formation, and Genetic Pacification," with Henry Harpending. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/147470491501300114 In these he explained the eugenically civilizing effects of civilization. I am defining a civilization as a city based culture when the government has an effective monopoly on the legitimate use of violence. Peter Frost said that during the Roman Empire, and again in England from 1200 to 1800 criminals were usually killed at the scene of the crime, they died in custody, or they were executed. The few children some may have had rarely lived to adulthood. Consequently, crime genes were removed from the gene pools of the Roman Empire, and England. As a result, crime rates in both declined. I discussed Peter Frost's first essay in my American Renaissance essay, ...

Documentary: South Africa's Blood-Stained Crime Crisis (1996) [Extremely Graphic, Viewer Discretion Advised]

Image
Hello all, this is a documentary of crime in South Africa that contains extremely graphic content which many people may find disturbing, horrific serious injuries are shown here. This movie makes a point of saying that the violent crime is not just done by blacks in South Africa, but that whites commit it too.  Well duh, I guess I would say...I'd argue that the vast majority of it is done by blacks, even on a per capita basis the crime rates are different.  I don't have the stats with me at the moment and I believe they would be difficult to obtain, but will say that the rate of being murdered as a white South African farmer is much higher than that of the general population.  I do have a statistic that backs that one up, and it isn't other whites going to those farms and committing the murders.  In any case judging by the high amount of violence it looks like the place is Hell. Also as a side note in the community of Orania, in South Africa with only whites the s...

Conversations with Harold Channer: Rabbi Mayer Schiller Air date: 03-01-99

Image
A controversial New York Rabbi, Rabbi Mayer Schiller joins Harold Channer for an intellectual discussion of Jewish Orthodoxy vs. Reform, the differences, and science and technology vs religion in recent time. The problems of religious outlook, also discusses Islamic terrorism and how it relates to religious fundamentalism. Mayer Schiller also discusses how Western civilization has moved away from God, and so in a way from happiness, etc., and so on and so forth. Lastly, his position as a Hasidic Jew on the state of Israel.  Lots of points to mull over. The following description about Mayer Schiller can be found on the YouTube video, but I should state that he was the keynote speaker at the first annual American Renaissance conference in 1994. Rabbi Mayer Schiller is an American Hasid based in Monsey, New York State, who identifies himself as a member of Skver, and serves as spokesperson for the Skver community in New Square. Schiller also maintains active ties to the Modern...

Novel Coronavirus: The New Global Pandemic (... and I was About to go to China!)

I'm sure by this time you all have probably heard of the novel coronavirus that is going around the world, and originating in Wuhan, China, which is the epicentre of China's epidemic. The coronavirus is related to the SARS virus however, this version seems to be much more contagious though far less deadly. People that are most at risk are the elderly, as well as those with underlying conditions.  As the flu, I believe it can go to bronchitis and pneumonia, which is lethal.  I've had bronchitis before, perhaps even pneumonia and trust me: YOU DON'T WANT TO GET IT. Now the virus has a fairly long incubation period, ...

Documentary: Modern slavery of disabled people in South Korea | Unreported World

Image
Posted by Independent Thinker     This is a sad documentary of mentally challenged people in South Korea being used to do manual labour without pay. It is a form of modern-day slavery.  Unfortunately, although Korea is a developed nation they spend the second least amount of money on the disabled for a developed nation, only behind Mexico for last place.  Due to the financial burden that is placed on these people it may be the case that their master might be their best opportunity in life, otherwise they would just be homeless.  Quite a tragic documentary on some of the most vulnerable people, and I usually feel sympathy for the vulnerable.     This is part of the Unreported World series with Marcel Theroux, a relative of the famous Louis Theroux, who did documentaries for the BBC.
